Surrounded by lush gardens and tall palm
trees, the 3-star Castle Resort's oceanfront
Lae Nani Resort is located on an exclusive
sandy beach on Wailua Bay on the eastern
shore of Kauai, only five minutes from the
Lihue airport. The Lae Nani features 80
units in five three-story wood buildings and
similar to most condos on Kauai, does not
have elevators, so one must walk up the
stairs, but the view alone is worth the
effort. Besides it is good exercise and it
is always recommended to pack light when
traveling, so you can buy lots of things to
bring home.
Property amenities include a swimming pool,
picnic area, barbecue grills, free parking,
beach front enclosed swimming area, lighted
tennis court and coin-operated laundry.
There is no on-site restaurant, but there
are lots of restaurants, shops and
activities within walking distance. Or, you
can simply buy some things to grill and have
a picnic on the beach.
The location is ideal for seeing all that
Kauai has to offer, which includes many
archaeological sites well worth visiting
such as Waimea Canyon, Koke'e State Park,
the various waterfalls, or even rent a kayak
and paddle up the Wailua River, the only
navigable river in Hawaii, then hike to a
waterfall, have a picnic, then paddle back.
This is a lovely property, great for couples
and families. If you want to get away from
the hustle and bustle of everyday life,
enjoy breathtaking scenery, share time with
the people important in your life, the Lae
Nani Resort is the ideal place to do so.
Note: The Castle Lanikai Resort has
started a water well project effective
10/16/08 in the parking lot before the front
office. The drilling will last for several
months and during this time for noise and
safety reasons, the office will be closed
and all guest of Lanikai and Lae Nani guests
who will now be checked in at the Castle
Kaha Lani at 4460 Nehe Rd. in Lihue. |
