The 4-star
Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort & Spa is a
brand new oceanfront condominium resort
featuring luxury one and two bedroom units.
It is also an Expedia Insiders Select hotel
listed among the top 25 hotels worldwide and
the only Hawaii accommodation to receive
this distinction for 2008. Located right on
the beach along Kauai's lush eastern coast
in the quaint town of Kapa'a, the resort
features 4 story buildings, with elevators
and very spacious furnished lanais. The
grounds are beautifully designed with lush
tropical landscaping and simply spectacular
views. With a minimum three night stay,
children, 5 to 10 years of age (2 maximum)
are given a free Island Explorer Kit at
check-in. Each Island Explorer Kit includes
a Friends of the Reef Adventure Guide/Let's
Explore Hawaii Guide, colorful backpack,
sunglasses, pen and binoculars.
Property amenities include a heated salt
water river pool that meanders over two
acres including flumed water slides and
three sand-bottom whirlpool spas and a sandy
bottom wading pool. There is a Fitness
Center with state-of-the-art equipment and
the Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa offers all
sorts of treatments and massages. Other
amenities include complimentary parking,
security, an activities desk and, if golf is
the love of your life, nearby is the popular
public course, Wailua Golf Course or you can
drive about 20 minutes up the coast to play
at Princeville Resorts acclaimed Prince
Course or Makai Course.
The Pool Bar & Grill offers all day dining
poolside and while there is no sit down
restaurant located at Waipouli Beach, you
are just steps away from the Kauai Village
Shopping Center with its 30 shops,
restaurants and art galleries. There is a
Safeway Grocery Store in the center for
stocking up on essentials so you can enjoy a
leisurely breakfast on your lanai, or whip
up a lunch to go when exploring the island.
The town of Kapa'a is quite charming with a
nice selection of restaurants and a great
place for some boutique shopping and unusual
gifts.
