A beautiful new
property, the 4-Star Westin Princeville
Ocean Resort Villas is located on a bluff
200 feet above the Pacific Ocean on the
north shore of Kauai. The views are
breathtaking from all over the beautifully
landscaped property, whether you are looking
toward the ocean, or toward the canyons and
the towering cliffs of the coastline. Then
there is Hanalei Bay, considered one of the
most beautiful bays in all the islands, a
short distance away and perfect for all
water sports.
The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort's air
conditioned Villas are located in seven 2
and 3 story buildings, with elevators,
featuring Studio and One Bedroom units,
which can be put together to form a single
Two Bedroom Villa. They are decorated with
casual elegance and all feature lanais, full
kitchen, dishwasher and washers and dryers.
Property amenities include four pools,
featuring a large main pool with a spacious
sundeck, lounge chairs and whirlpool; a
kiddie pool with slide and spa; a cliffside
plunge pool with spa; and, another plunge
pool with spa tucked into a remote bluff.
There are two poolside bars at either end of
the main pool and outdoor grills and picnic
area to enjoy your own sunset barbeque.
The Westin WORKOUT® features top quality
cardio-machines and strength machines along
with both a sauna and steam room. For the
younger set there is the Westin Kids Club
for children 5 to 12 years old, an exciting
place where children can have fun, go on
scavenger hunts, do arts and crafts and
learn Hawaiian culture. Open seven days a
week from 9 am to 4 pm, you can choose
either half day sessions or full day with
lunch (fee). There is also in-room child
care for a fee.
Other property amenities include a
complimentary shuttle which goes around the
Princeville area on a daily schedule, a
Business Center, Concierge Service,
complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel,
laundry facilities, complimentary parking
and so much more. If you love golf, you'll
be staying at the perfect place since the
Westin Princeville Ocean Resort is situated
between two world class championship golf
courses, the Prince Golf Course and the
Makai Golf Course.
The Villas signature restaurant, Nanea
Restaurant & Bar, features delicious
island-inspired cuisine as well as
breathtaking views and is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The pool
bars, Wailele and Ke Kai are located at
opposite ends of the property alongside the
main pool. They feature great fruit
smoothies, tropical drinks and a wide
variety of refreshing beverages, with
poolside service available. There is also
the option of dining at either the
Princeville Hotel or Sheraton Kauai Resort
and charging it back to your guestroom at
the Villas. The Sheraton Kauai is in Poipu
on the other side of the island, but a
perfect stop off place either on your way to
or from exploring the beautiful Waimea
Canyon.
Another option for dining is the Westin
Princeville Ocean Resort's General Store. It
is not your typical sundries and snack
store, but instead features a variety of
breakfast options from espresso to hot meals
as well as take out and packaged goods. For
lunch they serve up gourmet deli sandwiches
and salads with daily specials. They also
feature fresh meats, island fish, produce
and side dishes to purchase to take
advantage of that great kitchen and lanai
for in-room dining, or the grills for a
sunset picnic.
This is a luxurious new property located on
one of the most beautiful, dramatic parts of
the island of Kauai. The gardens, the pools,
the elegantly decorated Villas, the
amenities and the quality of the workmanship
all have come together to create an island
paradise - or what could be called another
fabulous Westin property.
