The 3-star Aston at Poipu Kai condominium
resort has a fabulous location near beaches,
natural attractions, activities and quaint
towns. The property sits on 70 acres of
lush, landscaped gardens in a prime
location, right next to Brennecke's Beach
and Shipwreck Beach and is within minutes of
the well known "Spouting Horn", a lava
blowhole. Featuring One and Two Bedroom
condos in five individual communities with
fully furnished kitchens, this is a great
place for a family or group of friends, or
anyone who wants the quieter atmosphere of a
condo versus a large hotel.
At check-in, each family member ages 12
years and younger, receives an Aston Kids
Stay, Play & Eat Free ID card, lanyard and
flyer detailing participating establishments
and their offers for each island. Guests
will also receive two bottles of water upon
arrival and a Two for One free Luau
certificate with the purchase of one adult
ticket and an Aloha Book with hundreds of
dollars savings on dining, shopping,
entertainment and golf, one coupon booklet
per room.
Each cluster of the five communities has its
own recreational facilities including a
swimming pool and barbeque grills, with some
amenities shared by all, including two jet
spas, nine tennis courts (fee), Guest
Activities Desk, complimentary daily
newspaper in lobby, picnic area, business
services, a Reception Area that offers
reading materials, games, videos for rent
and a high speed internet access kiosk
(fee). There is complimentary WiFi service,
complimentary parking and a roadside weekly
farmer's market nearby to pick up some
really fresh fruit and veggies.
There is no on-site restaurant, but there
are many people who choose a condo over a
hotel, mainly because they save money on
eating out all the time, using that money
saved for various adventures and
attractions. For some reason, cooking
breakfast or dinner while looking out to the
ocean with warm tropical breezes blowing and
palm trees swaying is much more fun to do
than at home. There is both a Wal-Mart and a
Safeway Grocery Store in Lihue, where you
can stock up on essentials, items to
barbeque, snacks to nibble on and perhaps
some beer and wine to sip while sitting on
your lanai watching the sun set. |
