Castle Resort's 3-star Poipu Shores has a
fantastic location, situated right on the
ocean within the renowned Poipu Beach Resort
area. The resort offers 39 condo units with
3 two- and four- story white stucco
buildings. All the units feature ocean views
to watch sunrises and sunsets.
Property amenities include free parking,
complimentary newspapers in the lobby,
barbeque area, Royal Value Coupon Booklet
with savings on attractions, entertainment
and dining, fresh water swimming pool and
sun deck. Due to it's rocky coast, there is
no beach access, but turtles are daily
visitors to the lava rocks fronting the
pool. Just a mile away is what is considered
to be one of America's best beaches, Poipu
Beach. There is a protected area for safe
swimming and at the other end, the perfect
spot for surfing or boogie boarding. Between
the two points is a great place for
snorkeling - in other words, this is a
perfect beach and it's very close by.
There is no on-site restaurant, but there
are some great ones nearby, as well as the
charming one-story Poipu Shopping Village,
which hosts free Polynesian music and dance
shows during the week. This is a lovely
resort, perfect for couples who want to get
away, or families who want to spend quality
time with their children. There are so many
things to see and do on Kauai with great
hiking trails, the amazing Waimea Canyon,
Princeville, waterfalls to dazzle your eyes,
no building taller than the tallest coconut
tree (it's actually a law), the quaint town
of Kapa'a and so much more. The Castle Poipu
Shores gets very positive reviews and has
many repeat visitors, which is a sign of a
well organized staff, beautiful property and
perhaps, the perfect place for your next
