OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Kauai is probably one of the few places in
the world whose legal building height
limitation is "no taller than a mature
coconut tree". Fortunately for the 4-Star
Sheraton Kauai Resort, their 20-acre
oceanfront property has lots of mature
coconut trees throughout, so they were able
to build their three four-story wings with
no problems.
The Sheraton Kauai is beautiful property
that is steps from Poipu Beach with
excellent snorkeling bordering the lava-rock
point of the resort. There are a full range
of guest services and activities including
two large swimming pools, 2 children's
pools, whirlpool, massage and fitness
center, three tennis courts and a
news/internet library. Other property
amenities include a Weekly Movie Night,
babysitting/child care, Children's Program,
coin laundry as well as dry cleaning,
Concierge, Gift Shop and a Sundry Shop. You
can rent boogie boards, snorkeling and scuba
equipment and even a beach cabana from the
Beach Activity Center.
You can enjoy sunrise breakfasts of fresh
island fruits to gourmet dining under the
stars at the hotel's galleria of oceanfront
dining. Shell's Steak & Seafood Restaurant
has beautiful ocean views and specializes in
Pacific Regional cuisine featuring local
produce, fresh fish and a wide selection of
the most tender cuts of prime steak.
Children 12 years and younger dine free (one
child per adults, maximum of two children
per table). Open for breakfast and dinner.
Amoré Ristoranté Italiano features
traditional Italian cuisine in a romantic
candlelight indoor setting or a more casual
café style seating, both with wonderful
ocean views. Open for dinner only.
Naniwa Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar
features "prepared to order" favorites and
extraordinary sushi from the Island's prime
selection of fresh seafood as well as
specialties air shipped daily from Japan.
Open for dinner, Tuesday to Sunday.
Reservations for dinner are suggested for
all three restaurants. The Point is Sheraton
Kauai Resort's "gathering place" for the
Island's most spectacular sunrise and
sunsets. A light, casual all day dining menu
is served from 11:00 a.m. until midnight
with seating either inside or out on the
terrace. The Oasis Bar & Grill is poolside
serving sandwiches, salads, burgers, snacks
and tropical cocktails during the day.
For the ultimate in luxury, treat yourselves
to a romantic dinner under the stars in a
private area of Ocean Point including a
personal butler to cater to all your wishes
and a luxurious 4-course gourmet dinner. For
a different, but unforgettable experience,
don't miss the resorts Surf to Sunset Luau
featuring award winning entertainment, an
extensive buffet of not only traditional
luau items, but Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese,
Japanese, Filipino and Thai-inspired foods.
