OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Take a magical, mystical journey through old
Hawaii! There is no other place quit like
this eerie swamp, located on an old caldera
floor, created some 6 million years ago. The
not to be missed hike travels through dense
rainforest and open, muddy bogs. Its the
worlds highest rainforest and swampland.
Along the way, there's opportunity to see
rare native plants and birds. You've got to
get up early though, if you have any chance
at all of seeing magnificent views from the
Kilohana Lookout, at the end of the Alaka'i
Trail......... |
